Rooted in the profession since 1980
The Nursing Education Association is a national, member-driven professional association for nurse educators. Our roots reach back to a 1980 curriculum-development group; the Curriculum Association formed in 1981 and was renamed the Nursing Education Association in 1988.
In 2005 a national executive and ten regional chapters were established, giving educators in every province a local home within a national body.

Leadership & board of directors
NEA is led day-to-day by our CEO and governed by a board of regional chapter chairpersons, with an independent chairperson appointed biennially.
